Quick House Sales - Frequently Asked Questions

How to sell a house fast? Read on...

Q. How do I sell my property?
A. Click on the link to the left, fill out the form with some details and we will make you an offer.

Q. How much do you charge for the property valuation on these quick house sales?
A. Nothing. There are absolutely no upfront fees that you need to pay. We give you a free valuation and, if you accept, you will get a house sale quick and be paid cash eight days later without having to pay anything upfront.

Q. We need to sell fast. Do you only buy houses?
A. Not at all. As well as houses, we buy flats and bungalows, hotels and high rises, commercial properties and also plots of land or even parts of gardens, providing there is some form of access.

Q. Are there any types of property that you do not buy?
A. We buy all types of residential and commercial properties that you might want to sell fast, vacant or tenanted, as well as land for redevelopment, although we don't buy rural properties nor houseboats.

Q. Will I still get a quick house sale if the property is in poor condition when we sell it to you?
A. Yes, we regularly buy properties that need updating or repair.

Q. How quickly do you pay out when you buy my house?
A. You decide! You can have completion at any date to suite yourself. Most people like to have a fast exchange but not complete for 3-6 weeks, so they can synchronise the sale with their next purchase, but it is entirely your choice – you could complete as quickly as the eighth day! We are not moving in, so it makes no difference to us.

Q. Do you only buy in the South East?
A. No. We buy property all over the UK, but are most active around London and the home counties.

Q. When do I have to move out?
A. Whenever you are ready, so long as it is within 3 months! There is no pressure from us. You can organise the completion date to be at the most convenient time for you.

Q. Do I have to move out?
A. You don't actually have to move out at all if you have taken the option of renting your property back from us. Just carry on living there as you had before.

Q. Will I need a solicitor?
A. Yes. Your solicitor will ensure that all the legal works are carried out in a proper manner.

Q. What will a solicitor charge me when I sell my property to you?
A. Solicitors' costs vary slightly, but as a guide on the sale of a house at £100,000 you may expect their bill to be in the region of £450. If you wish, you can take this out of the cash we pay you, so you will not need to find the money upfront.

Q. Can it really be done and dusted in 8 days?
A. Absolutely, yes, the house sale usually completes by the eighth day, so long as there is no hold up with regard to the necessary legal documentation.
